TEACHING
Dr. Patel has been a long time Assistant Clinical Professor at three very prestigious dental universities in the nation, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, as well as University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry and University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California for the past twenty five years. Dr. Patel has maintained his faculty appointment and continues to volunteer one day per week, without pay in order to "give back" to the profession and assist the dental students in their clinical aspects of their academic curriculum. As an attending dentist in the clinic, he oversees, critiques and educates the second, third and fourth year dental students with treatment rendered on patients in the local community.
